A joint email update from TAFE NSW and the unions

Dear colleagues,

On 16 and 17 July bargaining representatives from TAFE NSW and the Community and Public Sector Union/Public Service Association, United Voice, the Australian Workers' Union – Port Kembla and Greater NSW Branches and a bargaining representative met for the third time to negotiate the TAFE NSW Administrative, Support and Related Employees Enterprise Agreement.

What was discussed

All parties discussed the TAFE NSW proposal in detail, specifically focusing on the Salary Spine and working hours.

The unions presented a number of proposals.

What was agreed

1. All parties agreed to continue to review the new classification structure, conditions and allowances for Administration, Support and Related Employees
2. TAFE NSW will release 1.5 full time employees who are appropriate union delegates to achieve the work required.

What will happen next?

The next bargaining session is scheduled for 29 and 30 July 2015. At this session TAFE NSW and the unions and the bargaining representative will continue to discuss the proposals.
