On 15 October TAFE NSW, the unions and nominated representatives recommenced bargaining for the TAFE Commission of NSW Administrative, Support and Related Employees Enterprise Agreement 2015.
What was discussed?
At our eighth session, TAFE NSW affirmed its key bargaining principles:
- Implementing the Contemporary Classification Structure
- Establishing a common set of conditions for all staff under the agreement.
The CPSU/PSA also presented their key bargaining issues, which TAFE NSW and the unions will discuss in upcoming meetings.
Bargaining representatives from TAFE NSW, the CPSU/PSA, United Voice, the AWU – Greater NSW Branch, the AWU – Port Kembla Branch and a bargaining representative.
What will happen next?
The next bargaining session is scheduled for the first date that the CPSU/PSA was available – 6 November 2015. All parties have agreed to discuss the Work Level Standards and part-year employment.
