Today National Manufacturing Week 2012 launched at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay. This year the exhibition is organised into 12 specialist product zones ranging from information technology to sustainable manufacturing and TAFE NSW and NSW Trade and Investment can be found at Stand 5000 in the Exhibition Hall.

This four-day event is the annual showcase for manufacturing products and technologies and brings together employers, suppliers, industry experts and training specialists under one enormous roof.

"TAFE NSW participation in National Manufacturing Week 2012 is an opportunity to demonstrate TAFE NSW capability across the manufacturing sector," said Diane Seath, Relieving CEO Department of Education and Communities International and TAFE NSW National Business.

TAFE NSW understands that growing your business involves more than education and training for your staff. TAFE NSW can help design and implement a workforce development strategy that assists businesses to achieve their business goals," said Ms Seath.

The TAFE NSW manufacturing and technical experts on the stand can provide advice and consultation about industry workforce training and customised programs. A number of funding opportunities may be available to your business to support your workforce training and the TAFE NSW consultants can work with you to identify and access relevant funding programs.
