23 July 2012

Aboriginal Education and Training Directorate

Attention Indigenous TAFE NSW students thinking of university. Mark these dates in your calendar now... 5-7 September 2012.

The University of New South Wales is hosting a residential Indigenous Spring Forum on these days for Indigenous students over the age of 18 who are exploring pathways to university. This is a perfect opportunity to find out what your options are.

The Forum offers everything you need to fully understand possible pathways and what university could offer. This includes tailored workshops, seminars, presentations and panel discussion sessions aligned with your subject areas of interest.

The Residential Indigenous Spring Forum will be facilitated by Nura Gili, the university's Indigenous studies unit, as well as faculty advisors, current Indigenous students and recent Indigenous graduates. The three-day event provides a great opportunity to learn firsthand about future career paths, cadetships and scholarships.
