Accessible Education with Connected Learning Centres

TAFE NSW is expanding its educational reach with four new Connected Learning Centres (CLCs) in Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Quirindi and Coonabarabran.

TAFE NSW is expanding its educational reach with four new Connected Learning Centres (CLCs) in Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Quirindi and Coonabarabran.

Construction is under way on the CLCs, which are the first four in the state, each worth about $2.2 million. Northern Tablelands MP and Assistant Skills Minister Adam Marshall said the new digital learning hubs will help deliver TAFE NSW courses to more people in more areas.

"With the CLCs students will have the opportunity to study basically any course TAFE offers throughout the state," Mr Marshall told theĀ Tenterfield Star.

"When completed, these four new CLCs will be multi-purpose and digital learning facilities where students will receive more personalised learning experiences, better access to teachers both on and off-site, simulated work environments and directly relevant training for skills shortages of the future."

Construction on all four CLCs is expected to be finished by November.
