Diamond is forever

Once again TAFE NSW was diamond sponsor for the NSW & ACT Careers Adviser of the Year Award, and the Hilary Bolin Award.

Once again TAFE NSW was diamond sponsor for the NSW & ACT Careers Adviser of the Year Award, and the Hilary Bolin Award. The Conference at which the awards were presented was held on Friday 21 October at Dockside, Darling Harbour and was attended by over 350 careers advisers from both government and non-government schools.

TAFE NSW representative Karl King from The Northern Sydney Institute presented the prestigious Careers Adviser of the Year Award to Linda Drenkhahn, from Great Lakes College - Tuncurry Senior Campus. Mr King acknowledged the significant role of careers advisers in schools.

"You help our youth define what they can do in their future," said Mr King. "The importance of this task cannot be underestimated and we highly value the work that you do."

TAFE NSW also sponsored the Hilary Bolin Award, which was presented to Jenny Zugajev.
