1. Zimmermann | @Zimmermann_

Who: Former TAFE Sydney fashion graduate Nicky Zimmermann started selling her designs at Sydney's Paddington Markets in the early 1990's. The quality fabric and flattering cuts used in her designs won her a steady following and lead to a career launching feature in Australian Vogue. In 1991 Nicky partnered with her sister Simone to create the brand Zimmermann, the power siblings have gone on to find international success, winning multiple fashion awards including the Australian Fashion Laureate and Best Swim Designer - Prix de Marie Claire.

2. By Johnny | @By Johnny

Who: TAFE Sydney fashion graduate Johnny Schembri appeared on Season 3 of Project Runway Australia and launched his label By Johnny at Rosemount Australian Fashion week in 2010. This rising star boasts A-list clientele including Sonya Kruger, Danni Minogue and Mel B.

3.Inder Dhillon | @_Inder Dhillon_

Inder_Dhillon

Who: Emerging fashion designer and winner of the TAFE Sydney Institute Creative Award, Inder Dhillon launched her label ‘Inder Dhillon' at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in 2013 after leaving behind a career in finance. Inder Dhillon's signature style is ‘Pretty Tomboy' is one that embodies understated sophistication with an urban edge. The fit, feel, drape and finishes are the primary focus.

4. Alex Perry | @Alex Perry007

Alex Perry

Who: Alex Perry is arguably one of Australia's most famous fashion designers. His love of drawing and glamour led him to study fashion design at Sydney TAFE in the mid 1980's.  In 1992, Alex Perry opened his first atelier, creating bespoke made-to-measure designs with a focus on corsetry and tailored sheaths. In 2004 he launched his incredibly successful self-titled ready to wear collection.

5. Keylene Milner | @Kaylene_Milner_the_label

Kaylene milner

Who: Kaylene Milner is touted as the ‘one to watch', winning an internship with at Diane Von Furstenberg studios in New York. After studying at the Fashion Design Studio, Ultimo TAFE she launched her self-titled label and teaches Fashion Design at TAFE NSW Sydney Institute.

6. The Fashion Design Studio | @FashionDesignStudio

Who: The Fashion Design Studio, Sydney TAFE has taught some of Australia's biggest fashion designers. The institute is internationally recognised and considered to be the premier fashion design Institute in Australia.
