New tenants for Goulburn TAFE’s child care centre

A purpose-built child care centre on TAFE Illawarra's Goulburn Campus that was closed last year is set to receive a swarm of new tenants, most of them aged 0 to 5.

The abandoned premises will be occupied by Anglicare Goulburn Early Childhood Centre, which will be expanding its service to meet a growing demand in the local area. They will be sharing the facilities with another service, the St Saviours Long Day Care Centre, which will also be expanding.

"We are so pleased to be able to offer the Goulburn community a more comprehensive early childhood service for children aged 0 to 5 years thanks to this decision," said Anglicare's Goulburn-based Executive Manager, Simon Bennett. "Anglicare has been providing early childhood and education to our local community since 1978 and this new service will complement our current services of Family Day Care, Orana and Marulan Preschool and local playgroups."

Once operating from the 27-place premises, Anglicare Goulburn Early Childhood Centre will be open from 7.30am to 6.00pm on weekdays and will offer both Long Day Care and Occasional Care. The service will include morning and afternoon teas, nappies and sun safe hats. Enrolments can be made by phoning 4823 4057.
