The scholarships are either equity or merit-based incentives and were established to provide financial assistance for the students throughout their studies or beyond.

"The scholarship judging panel was impressed with the students' commitment to achieving their goals and their outstanding contributions to campus life and the broader community," said Lucy Arundell, Institute Director of TAFE Illawarra. "There are many inspiring stories amongst the scholarship winners that show what a difference learning and skills can make to a person's life."
