TAFE South Western Sydney celebrates Reconciliation Week with Aboriginal Learning Circle

As a part of Reconciliation Week, TAFE SWSi Aboriginal Learning Circle celebrated the opening of a fully dedicated facility at Campbelltown TAFE.

The Centre of Excellence is a project headed up by Dave Roberts, TAFE SWSi Manager of Customer Service and Support for Aboriginal Education and Training.

The new Centre of Excellence was opened with a smoking ceremony by local Indigenous Elder, Uncle Ivan, by blessing the snake path garden outside the facility. The snake path will eventually encompass the entire building, representing a pathway of making friends and networks on the path towards further education and employment. The rock in the centre of the path represents the Centre of Excellence building itself.
