From Tuesday 19 to Saturday 23 January, at The Made By TAFE NSW Precinct on Peel Street will feature a different array of demonstrations in food and beverage, hair and beauty, horticulture, music and creative arts, and indigenous culture.

Join in to learn a new skill like speaking an aboriginal language, keeping your kitchen knives sharp, making a mocktail, drought proofing your garden or recording music and making sound effects. 

In the evening The Precinct will transform into a pop up food venue, right at the centre of The Toyota LandCruiser Country Music Busking Championships, one of the most anticipated aspects of the Festival each year. So stop by, kick up your feet, have a cheeseboard or antipasto platter, a cold drink and enjoy some tunes from an array of buskers from around Australia.

TAFE NSW will also provide a recording session to the 'People's Choice' busker, as voted at the championship on Saturday 23 January.

There's also the opportunity to win a double pass to Saturday evening's Toyota Golden Guitar Awards, the pinnacle awards event for country music, either by dropping in and entering in person or by visiting our Facebook page.

The Tamworth Country Music Festival is the largest music festival in Australia and one of the top 10 music festivals in the world, attracting 50,000 visitors daily. The Made By TAFE NSW Precinct is presented by staff and students from TAFE New England, North Coast TAFE, TAFE Western and Hunter TAFE.
