Entry requirements

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

  • At least five years current aviation mechanical maintenance experience and be presently employment in the aviation industry as evidenced by your resume or a letter from your employer

  • Successful completion of the Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent as evidenced by your transcript

Completion requirements

During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:

  • A National Police Check

  • An Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or defence equivalent

Entry recommendations

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • Proficiency in maths

  • Great written and oral communication skills

  • Great interpersonal skills and an ability to work well with a team

  • An understanding of aviation maintenance management requirements
