Become a trade qualified roof plumber and learn the skills needed to work on roof drainage systems for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Study as an apprentice or be recognised for your industry experience in this practical course and graduate in an industry where your skills are in demand.

Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Select and install roof sheeting and wall cladding
Work with non-metallic roof materials
Cut and join sheet metal Install roof components and insulation
Install fascias, gutters, downpipes, valley gutters, ridge capping and flashings
Gain practical experience and develop specialist skills that give you an advantage in the job market.
Experience to install roof sheeting, flashings, roof drainage components and roof penetrations such as skylights
Skills working with different metal materials for roofs, gutters and downpipes
Strong pathways to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities as a tradesperson in the roof plumbing industry
Skills and know-how to start your own business as an endorsed licensee in the roof plumbing industry
This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
Be employed as an apprentice in the industry as evidenced by a letter of support from your employer
Submit your Training Plan Proposal (TPP) with your application
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
An aptitude for practical tasks

Good problem-solving abilities
Intermediate level fitness to manage the physical demands of the job
