  • Academic transcript showing successful completion of all core units (or equivalent competencies) in the Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

  • To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you are:

    • There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

  • To successfully complete this course, you will need:

    • regular Access to a computer, laptop or tablet with standard business software (for example, Microsoft Office) to allow use of applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • regular Access to a reliable and fast internet connection
    • recording equipment such as a camera or smart phone
    • colleagues, friends or family members who are available and willing to participate in assessment role plays that are recorded and submitted for marking

Entry recommendations

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you:

  • Already worked in a work health and safety (WHS) role and want to upskill

  • Strong computer literacy skills

  • The ability to research, evaluate and present a range of complex tasks

  • Efficient organisational and time management skills
