Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Take measurements and do calculations
Install carpet underlays, tiles and gripper accessories
Calculate fabric quantities for window coverings
Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices
Cut mouldings to length

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
An interest in one of the following: soft furnishings production, upholstery, flooring technology, mattress and base making, coopering, picture framing, security screens and grilles, window coverings installation, and blinds, awnings and shade sails
Practical capabilities and an interest in working with your hands
Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
Good English, maths and communication skills
