To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • An interest in one of the following: soft furnishings production, upholstery, flooring technology, mattress and base making, coopering, picture framing, security screens and grilles, window coverings installation, and blinds, awnings and shade sails

  • Practical capabilities and an interest in working with your hands

  • Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination

  • Good English, maths and communication skills
