Materials needed

To complete this course, the following materials are required:

  • Computers are provided on Campus for those classes where you are learning about software

  • It is recommended that you have your own laptop with industry standard software( Adobe creative cloud)

  • Subscription to Adobe creative cloud will be provided as part of the course

  • Some materials and resources for printing and producing project work are provided onsite

  • There is no materials fee for this course

  • You may need to purchase your own additional materials and resources for project work

  • A certificate IV in Design (graphic) or equivalent study or work experience is a pre-requisite for entry into this course.

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Graphic Design qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 19 units of competency, including 9 core and 10 speciality units.

Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
