Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Make costume headwear accessories
Block and shape headwear by hand
Use the correct equipment, tools and techniques
Research and explore costume styles and periods to influence your own creations
Alter and fit headwear to make adjustments

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
An interest in theatrical costumes and/or fashion design
Creativity and design sense
A desire to work with your hands and good hand-eye coordination
Time management skills
The ability to work independently or with a team
A basic knowledge of hand-sewing
Leather closed toe shoes and hair ties
