Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Inspect and test electrical equipment for operation and safety
Test and tag cord connected equipment and cord assemblies
Attach flexible cord and plugs
Use a portable appliance tester (PAT)
Locate and repair faults in flexible cords and plugs
Follow workplace procedures for hazard identification and risk control
