To be enrolled in this course offering, you need to be able to provide evidence that you have:
-To demonstrate skills in some assessments. This may involve participating in roleplays which may be video recorded and the video submitted for marking.
-Adult colleagues, friends or family members who are available and willing to participate in assessment role plays that are recorded and submitted for marking.
-Recording equipment such as a camera or smart phone.
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you:
An interest in hospitality and working in a fast-paced, shift environment
Good communication skills
The ability to work in a team
A friendly attitude
The ability to comfortably stand on your feet for long periods at a time
During your study, you'll need to meet specific requirements to complete your coursework. Your teacher will let you know when you need to provide evidence of:
Liquor and Gaming NSW regulations require you to be 18 years of age or older to undertake units that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. Students can choose not to take these elective units if they are underage, or if they want to move into a general café stream of work.
Your teacher will let you know when this is required.
To confirm your place in a course, If not eligible for a scholarship or exemption, you will need to pay a minimum deposit of $80.
