To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • Language, literacy and numeracy skills at an Australian Year 12 high school level or its international equivalent

  • Comfort working with diverse groups of people

  • Comfort with massage including head, feet, hands and body

  • Proficient computer skills

  • A willingness to follow strict hygiene and work, health and safety principles

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Beauty Therapy qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 25 Units of competency, including 13 core and 12 speciality units.
