Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Gather and interpret information about the needs of others
Identify and discuss services and strategies that support the empowerment of others
Provide support in collaboration with care networks to facilitate progress toward helping others reach their goals
Identify circumstances where referral to a health care professional is required
Respond promptly and supportively to people experiencing distress or crisis
Gain experience working within contemporary models of care
Gain practical experience and develop specialist skills that give you an advantage in the job market.

Access to a private study area and to a camera and microphone, as this course is delivered as a Connected Class using Microsoft Teams
