The uncertainty of COVID-19 has created unprecedented anxiety, stress and worry for us all as we experience collective uncertainty and change. In this experiential online course, you will learn the benefits of the creative art-making process as you are guided through art therapy techniques to reduce stress, increase self-awareness and enhance positive, well-being. This 6-week online course will introduce participants to the value and effectiveness of art therapy, supported by a theoretical approach. No prior art experience is required. Participants will need to supply their own paper and art materials such as pens, coloured pencils, textas and chalk or oil pastels. It is also suggested that you have a good internet connection and a quiet place to work, free from distractions.
Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Gain practical experience and develop specialist skills that give you an advantage in the job market.
