This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
You are required to have sufficient garment production skills, knowledge, and experience to be appropriate for entry into this Diploma level course. This will be determined through attendance of an information session prior to enrolment, followed by a consultation.
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
Completed the Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology (MST30819)
Sewing and patternmaking skills
An interest in creating costumes
An interest in working backstage in theatre or television
The ability to pay a materials fee of approximately $600 to cover costume and garment fees
The ability to work during intense production weeks
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 12 high school level
