The Basic Barista Skills course is designed to give participants the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare and serve coffee using an espresso machine in a variety of hospitality settings.
Students will learn to prepare the work area, advise customers, prepare and serve coffee and maintain the espresso machine.
This course is designed for entry level training for coffee makers and others who are seeking work in a coffee service area.
This is a 'stepping stone' course to further students' knowledge about the industry. The hospitality industry offers a vast and exciting range of career opportunities at all levels.
