Overview

Emergency Risk Management will provide the skills and knowledge required to enhance community resilience through the assessment of emergency risks and determining appropriate treatment options. It is for individuals who undertake these assessments with a community or part of a community. Assessments are conducted at local, regional and state level by local governments, emergency management committees, public safety agencies, major events managers and other organisations that need to understand emergency risks to communities and the options for treating those risks. It includes the units PUAEMR009B Facilitate emergency risk assessment and PUAEMR012B Determine treatment options.
