TAFE Statement in Revit Essentials for Architectural Professionals

This course is intended for practicing architectural and drafting professionals who would like to move into a BIM-centric practice using Autodesk Revit 2019. No prerequisites required. This course is designed for new users of Revit Architecture.
No previous experience is required, but students are expected to have:
a sound level of computer literacy
an understanding of Architectural Design and Drafting
an understanding of Architectural documentation requirements
Topics Covered Difference between CAD and BIM + Brief history of Revit Starting a project and a look at the default template Overview Project / Template / Family Toolbar: QAT / Ribbon / Browser / Properties Flyouts / stacks + Shortcuts (Remember: no spacebar!) How to Navigate 3D / Zoom Pan Rotate Drawing and selecting objects (Walls) Understanding selections and options Class Exercise Community Hall Exercise Using the Revit interface model and manage basic walls, floors and roofs. Add simple family components and manage views to create a sheet of drawings.
