TAFE Statement in Revit Fundamentals for Architectural Professionals

The course focuses on the core tools that enable students to create and edit a full 3D architectural project, and then continue to develop the skills learnt. The intent is to provide a general comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental drafting tools and concepts. This course is designed for new users of Revit Architecture.
Students are expected to have:
a basic understanding of the Revit interface
a sound level of computer literacy
an understanding of Architectural Design and Drafting
an understanding of Architectural documentation requirements
Topics covered are:
Starting a project from a template
Modelling and documentation of a project to produce a set of drawings
Using Topography and in-place modelling
Class Exercise: Caf
Expanding upon the skills learnt in the Essentials course, students will also be introduced to basic topography, in place modelling and preparing call out views for detailing at a fundamental level. The objective is to introduce and enable students to create a basic 3D architectural project model and set up for working drawings.
