Assessments provide a great way for you to demonstrate what you've learned or already know, and identify what needs further development to meet legislative requirements. In this course, you will undertake a theory knowledge assessment.

This course is mandatory for anyone who works, or wants to work, as a licensee, approved manager, or club secretary in a high-risk environment.
Before enrolling into this course, you need to complete the standard Liquor Licensee course that is mandatory for all licensees operating a licensed business.

There are no excursions as part of this course; however, you must be already working in the industry and have significant experience before undertaking this course.

You will grow your leadership skills through this course, and learn to embed a culture of compliance in your business.

The learning and assessment resources for this course are based on current NSW liquor licensing legislation and their application in todays work environments.

You will have access to industry specific computer rooms, studios, study areas, presentation areas and general student facilities available at most TAFE NSW campuses.

This course is theory based with no requirement for a simulated work environment to achieve the outcome.

As the industry changes, new licence types are developed by Liquor and Gaming NSW. This provides great opportunity for people to start a small business and go on to employ their own staff.

The course was developed in response to changes in the NSW Liquor Regulation 2018. As licensee, you operate in an increasingly complex environment. This course of specialist training was developed in partnership with Liquor & Gaming NSW. It supports you with the skills required to run a safe and vibrant business in a higher risk environment.
