Overview

The nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in Prepare To Work Safely In The Construction Industry (White Card) enables you to obtain your Induction Training White Card NSW, so you can legally enter a construction site.

LEARN NEW SKILLS

Through theoretical and practical course work, you will learn how to:

  • Choose and fit personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to a certain task
  • Identify common site hazards in a workplace and follow processes and/or procedures to report, control and/or eliminate them
  • Recognise the importance of keeping a safe environment at a workplace
  • Identify appropriate processes to follow should an accident occur

Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development. In this course you will undertake:

  • Knowledge assessments short answer, multiple choice and oral questions
  • Practical skills assessments demonstrations under observation

You will gain hands-on experience in:
