The Certificate III in Performance Horse is suitable for people who have some experience with horses. It gives you the foundational skills and knowledge you need to begin a career in the equine industry.

The Diploma of Performance Horse is designed for those wanting to advance their career in the equine industry. You will focus on management, including business, staff and equine management, along with biosecurity.

If management isnt your style, you can apply for the Certificate IV in Farriery, which allows you to become a qualified farrier. You will gain real world exposure to practice your skills at an advanced level. This qualification allows you to add invaluable skills to your toolbox and heighten your employability.

Depending on your campus location and local partnerships with TAFE NSW, you may have the opportunity to participate in excursions that take you behind the scenes in the equine industry.

These may include excursions to:

  • Show jumping clubs
  • Polo grounds
  • Racing stables
