Overview

Join one of Australia's biggest rural industries as a wool handler by completing the Certificate II in Wool Handling.

In this course, you'll learn introductory skills and knowledge for working in the industry, including board duties, wool pressing, penning sheep and preparing facilities, safe working practices, and observing environmental work practices.

The course is taught in block mode in a shearing shed or a show ground to give you hands-on knowledge.

After successful completion, you may be employed as a supervised wool handler.
