Overview
Garden design, landscaping, lawn care, landscape construction - it all starts here. The Certificate II in Landscaping is an entry-level course for those who want to work as a landscape labourer or landscaping assistant.
This nationally recognised qualification covers the basics in:
- Safe working practices
- Landscaping techniques and practices
- Machinery operation
- Plants and shrubs
You can also learn selected skills from other areas, such as: arboriculture, irrigation, parks and gardens, turf, chemicals use, and pest management.
TAFE NSW has some of the largest horticulture training centres in the world. Our facilities include:
- Computerised glasshouses
- Landscape design studios
- A full size cricket pitch, golf green and a bowling green
Plus, graduates can go onto an Apprenticeship or continue studying the Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
