Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned so far and identify what knowledge or skills need further development. In this course you will undertake:

  • Skills assessment - practical demonstrations with verbal knowledge checks

This Certificate I course provides an entry-level induction to the automotive trade. It prepares you to choose a particular field in the industry to pursue.

At Certificate II level you will begin specialising in a specific automotive field. You will gain practical experience in real world and simulated environments, which sets you up for success in the Certificate III. Students often complete their trade qualification and return to a Certificate II to add other specialisations to their skill set.

Certificate III level is a trade qualification that is undertaken as part of an apprenticeship.

Certificate IV level course trains you in high level diagnostic work, designing systems and bespoke installations. You need to complete a Certificate III course to be eligible.

You will gain hands-on experience in:
