If you are serious about a career in aviation, the TAFE NSW Certificate III in Aviation (Cabin Crew) is for you.

You will develop the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to competently perform cabin crew duties (in normal and emergency situations) and cargo services tasks.

This nationally recognised course will qualify you for a range of important roles in commercial or Defence aviation operations, such as:

  • Flight Attendant
  • Cargo Services Operator

    Students may also have the option of paying a fee and completing a dual Certificate III related to ground operations and service.

    There are no entry requirements for this qualification. However, first aid certification, a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and other regulatory requirements are essential for employment.

    This qualification forms some of the requirements for certification as Cabin Crew by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) as described in Civil Aviation Order 20.11 Emergency and lifesaving equipment and passenger control in emergencies.
