The nationally accredited Diploma of Project Management will give you the leadership skills to step up as project leader or manager. Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned so far and identify what knowledge or skills need further development. In this course you will undertake:
- Task skills: performing the task
- Task management skills: managing a number of tasks
- Contingency management skills: dealing with irregularities e.g. Unexpected problems and breakdowns in routine
- Job and role environment skills: fulfilling job and workplace responsibilities and expectations and transferring competencies to various industries
This Diploma is best suited if you are already working in the project management field. The goal is to help you learn the skills needed to be successful managers and secure a more senior project management role.
To be successful in the Diploma level course, you should complete the Certificate IV or have existing project management experience. The Diploma deepens your knowledge gained and equips you with the skills to succeed in a variety of project management roles across a broad range of industries.
You will gain hands-on experience:
- In project management cross a range of enterprise and industry contexts
- Planning, organising, implementing and monitoring your own workload and the workload of others as well as evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems.
