Overview
You will learn how to:
- Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
- Plan and organise work
- Conduct workplace communication
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
- Safely handle and use scaffolding tools and equipment
- Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at basic and intermediate level
In addition, there are elective units to choose from including:
- Business operations
- Materials hoist
- Erecting and dismantling basic and intermediate scaffolding
- Working safely at heights
- Operating elevated work platform
Once you have successfully completed this qualification you can become a qualified scaffolder.
