This course is the perfect next step for those students who have already have skills singing or playing music, and some knowledge of theory and the industry. You will now cover a broad range of skills required to succeed in the music industry, including:
- Live Performance and Stagecraft
- Song writing and composition
- Music theory and musicianship
- Music technology
- Improvisation and instrumental and/or vocal technique
- Career advancement skills and more
You will gain significant experience playing in groups and developing your skills on your chosen instrument, including guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, singing, and more.
You will also cover more advanced aspects of copyright, small business skills and how to express your ideas.
After successfully completing this course, you will be prepared to study at a higher level, such as the Diploma of Music Industry (Performance). You may also be able to take on lower level roles in the music industry, depending on your experience and interests.
