Jobs in this industry continue to increase in demand as the need for effective, user friendly online interactivity becomes necessary for business, retail, commercial and entertainment industries.

The Specialised Design Services industry in Australia is forecast to generate $6.3 billion in revenue and grow by an annualised 2.2% through to 2023/24. Demand for industry services is projected to increase due to technological advancements in digital services, increased foreign investment and governments rebate scheme for film and TV productions.

Gaming and games development continue to play a large role in the industry with Australians, as part of their normal media usage, spending an average of 88 minutes a day playing interactive games.

However, games are not merely for entertainment. With the rise of AI and augmented reality there are many opportunities for games developers to create new, exciting experiences, not only in entertainment but education, health, WHS manufacturing and other spaces.
