Australia is the worlds sixth largest music market and demand for recorded music is forecast to remain strong over the next five years.

According to PwC, by 2023 Australias total spend on music will reach 1.791billion with a staggering 763million spent on digital distribution alone; with consumers accessing a wide catalogue of music (and podcasts) through online streaming services such as Spotify, as well as through older formats such as vinyl records.

The music industry is undergoing a Music Streaming lead resurgence, with large profits and sustained growth. Self-publishing and social media promotion are allowing artists to have more control over their careers. There are opportunities for skilled producers and small studio practitioners. You will cover all this and more in this course.
