If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who wants to begin a career in primary health care for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander clients, this Certificate III course is designed to launch your career.

A nationally recognised qualification, the Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care will teach you how to:

- Work in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care context
- Simplify and advocate for the rights and needs of clients and community members
- Assist in planning and delivery of basic health care
- Provide information about social and/or emotional support
- Identify community health issues, needs and strategies
- Assist with basic health screening, promotion and education services

If you are an Apprentice or looking to land an Apprenticeship in healthcare, the Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is available to you.
