Overview

Launch your career in aviation with a nationally recognised qualification from TAFE NSW.

Our Certificate II in Aircraft Line Maintenance ensures that you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform a range of specified aircraft maintenance tasks. Graduates are also qualified to release the aircraft to service once the required maintenance tasks have been completed.

This course is for employees of airlines and other operators of piston, jet and turbo-propeller aircraft and helicopters who are required to hold a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) licence.

Plus, you have the opportunity to achieve credits towards the pursuit of higher level aeroskills certificates, such as TAFE NSW Diploma of Aeroskills (Mechanical) (MEA50215) which is required for the grant of a CASA B1 Licence.
