Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned so far and identify what knowledge or skills need further development. In this course you will undertake:
- Knowledge assessments: Short answer, multiple choice
- Practical based skills assessments: Demonstrations under observation
- Assignment: Research based assignment
- Project: Develop or make an artefact
This course, the Certificate II level, gives you a solid foundation in engineering and manufacturing. The qualification covers general principles that underpin all your future engineering studies.
The Certificate III level course is a trade qualification that provides you with the skills and knowledge to work in the industry as a tradesperson.
The Certificate IV level is a post trade course for people working in the industry to gain technician skills and progress your employability skills to a senior level.
The Diploma level course is for engineering professionals who have significant industry experience. This course provides a pathway to a degree qualification.
