The ability to use foundational computer aided drafting (CAD) software for the engineering industry
Exposure to simulated, realistic manufacturing design and drafting workplaces and settings
An understanding of structural development and construction, working to industry standards and codes

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Manufacturing Technology (CAD/Drafting) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 11 units of competency, including 3 core and 8 speciality units.
