Are you keen for a career working with glass? TAFE NSW's Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Glazing) will provide you with the skills and knowledge to perform a range of glazing jobs, including safely manufacturing, processing, moving and installing various types of glass. You will learn to use, handle and store glass and glazing products and consumables, as well as to fabricate and assemble residential windows and doors, frames, insect screens and security screens.
You will also learn to glaze and re-glaze residential windows and doors, conduct commercial and industrial re-glazing, and prepare and install shower screens, wardrobe doors, mirrors and glass splashbacks. This glazing course may be undertaken as part of a glazier apprenticeship and will qualify you for glass and glazing jobs around Australia.
This course is superseded by MSF30418. You can still enrol in this course, and you will be contacted if you need to transition into the next version when it is available.
