Are you keen for a career essential to the prevention of injury in animal racing? TAFE NSW's Certificate III in Racing Services (Track Maintenance) is unique course covering a variety of landscaping and animal-related skills integral to both the horse and greyhound racing industries. Not only will you learn to comply with the rules of racing and related protocols, you will gain specialist skills to effectively landscape a track and to prepare and maintain the surface for both greyhound and horse racing events.

You will also develop strong skills to handle race animals in different environments, sensitive to the needs and instructions of owners, trainers, stable foremen and other racing personnel. Enjoy racing jobs around Australia with skills to create a consummate track environment, ensuring race animals can perform safely and at their very best.
