Overview

This course is for people working in various care and support roles in the community services sector who wish to develop skills in supporting people in their care in their home. Students enrolling in this skill set/training product through the job Trainer programme as part of the Skills for Recovery (S4R) initiative provided by the Australian Commonwealth government and Training Services NSW in response to COVID 19 recovery. Students are youth aged 17-24 and/or unemployed workers (job seekers) who are seeing to upskill to assist with NSW recovery and are looking for work and seeing specific job-ready skills in interest areas or areas deemed critical to the economy (ie health and allied health sectors.
