Overview

The Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation could be your path to an adventurous career where no two days will ever be the same!

In this nationally recognised course you will develop a high-level ability to manage groups across pre-planned outdoor activities such as touring and overnight camping.

You will learn how to ensure the safety of your group in supervised and unsupervised activities. Depending on where you are studying, you might also explore:

  • Camping
  • Sports on land, snow and water
  • Mountain pursuits
  • Working in different terrains, conditions, locations and weather

This course is taught by TAFE NSW teachers who are also experienced outdoor recreation professionals. Your study may include on-the-job and classroom learning.
