Statement of Attainment in Ableton Fundamentals
Course Code: TTPCRE0167
In this Ableton Fundamentals course, you can improve your existing skills or start learning from scratch with no prior ability in music production at all. Wherever you are at now, your teacher will help you get to the next level. Students will gain the base level competencies required by a worker in the Music and Performing Arts industry to use Ableton Live software for music production. They will also acquire the skills, knowledge and experience to create commercially viable records which can be sold and broadcast, as well as licensed for TV and film.
From zero to hero, with no previous experience, you will learn to create your music in Ableton Live. This is the industry standard music production software for electronic music, and continues to grow faster than any other DAW platform. It includes one of the most powerful samplers, time-warping and pitch shifting, as well and a vast array of instruments, filters and effects, built right in. Artists like Flume, Skrillex and Nine Inch Nails use it, as well as stars of hiphop, pop, dubstep, house, drum & bass, chillwave, ambient and glitch-hop. But itâs great for organic music too. Tame Impala used it for their last two award-winning albums, including the guitar driven rock album Innerspeaker, and the more synth oriented Currents.
You will learn composition techniques, editing, mixing, and how to harness the full capabilities of Ableton. By the end of this course you will create music as a final product ready for consumption.
