TAFE Plus Statement in Introduction To Cake Decorating

Overview

This course is designed to offer you the skills and knowledge required to create
and use a variety of different icings, frostings and ganache for decorating
cakes. You will learn different techniques which can be applied to both
traditional and modern cake designs. You will develop piping skills including
writing, filigree and other basic piping techniques, and learn to make basic
flowers and other decorations from icing. At the end of the class, you get to
take home your own mini cakes.
