Develop your technical skills and knowledge to work with livestock, cropping or mixed farming enterprises with the Certificate III in Agriculture.
You'll learn about safe work practices and environmentally sustainable work practices, as well as other selected skills areas, which could include: broadacre cropping; chemicals use; livestock production; machinery operation and maintenance; horse breeding; irrigation; agribusiness; horticulture; pest management; and wool.
This nationally recognised qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship, and when you complete it successfully, you'll be able to seek employment as a farm or station hand. You can also continue on to study the Certificate IV in Agriculture.
